Some days I go through the motions of being a dad and parent.  Not really thinking of what I’m doing but going on automatic.  There are days where I’m not going through the motions.  

I have been realizing that I’m been going through motions more since I’ been busy at work.  I hate that feeling since I feel like I’m missing a lot with my family.  I even missed dinner a couple of days ago due to work.  It makes me depressed when I miss stuff.

I missed to many things this year like plays, concerts, and assemblies at school.  I hope the rest of the year gets better.
